*** I found these coupons today in the toothpaste isle. The coupon stated $1.00 off ANY Aquafresh/Sensodyne so off to the travel section. I bought 4 at $1.27 each with coupons ONLY COSTING $.27 ea.. These are great when traveling... Husband already took these off the table...and into his possession.

I Just L-O-V-E thrift shopping.. I think it's the thrill of the hunt to find something awesome-ly amazing. When I go to thrifty I look for records, jewelry, old books, vintage cabinets anything that catches my eye.. The site above is a great reference to the thrift stores in your area. I honestly didn't know there were so many thrift stores around me! My husband not to excited! hehehe....
Let me know any amazing finds you grab at a thrift or yard sale..I love hearing about the great hunt for treasures.
My mom got my daughter a nice guitar with a hard case for $40.00 at a thrift shop. She is wanting to take lessons, that is on my to do list...the guitar does need tuning, but I thought to begin with lessons not a bad price!

EMBARRASSING YOUR TEENAGER CAN BE SO MUCH FUN! read more...
Today I had a medium iced caramel latte from DD with whip cream + a sweet tea..
Story time:
Just went to the Dollar Tree with My Daughter...
Sugar had kicked in.....
While at the Dollar Tree...we shopped, play with toys, tried on hats...yada, yada, yada...just normal stuff you do at the dollar store...late at night after you inhaled a bag of sugar...
After shopping we go to check out...a nice male sales associate..ringing up my few things...Chelsea grrr MOM hurry up....because she didn't match and she was afraid someone would see her....Pink shirt, Red shorts, black socks and flip flips.......
The register had one of the standing fans on top of the check out...I said to the nice sales associate...You know what's fun....Chelsea looking at me like omg what is she gonna do....I said, "I really like talking into fans...It makes your voice sound cool"...so I begin talking into the fan....saying random things...He replies with a odd look on his face "Yeah it's kinda fun". I say CHELS you wanna try...I couldn't believe it...She said "NO"
Her face....OMG and turning a tad bit red...
Next, a customer comes behind me, a nice tall gentleman...I turn to him and say, "you know whats fun.....talking into fans, it makes your voice sound cool"..and since your next in line you might want to try it".just sayin...He face was like am I on hidden cameras or something....
HOLY SMOKES...Chel's face was now.... really, really RED....
I paid for my items, took my change and said have a nice night...
Chelsea then walks briskly out of the store saying..."OMG..MOM."
I think the moral of the story...make sure you match before you go out....gesh...
here are the cool glasses I got from the Dollar Store, I kinda think they make my inner ummmm beauty explode..I'm gonna wear them everywhere... hehehehe
REALLY???.....
I went out shopping today to find me a dress to wear to a wedding this weekend. I honestly, don't have many dress clothes. I usually wear scrubs for work, jeans, shorts, and T-shirts.....So I began my day at 8:00 this morning. I went here and there...Got my car washed...yada yada yada.....
I went to the mall and went to what seems like 100 stores. I went into a store where a sweet YOUNG sales associate said she would help me find something. I picked out 3 dresses to try on...and all three were a NO GO...As I was trying on the dresses she came to my door and said she put some more on the outside hook of my door for me to try on. (She thinks I will likes these)....
Well ummmmm BELOW is one of the dresses she chose for ME......I was like REALLY ??? IM 40 ALMOST 41....to myself...I also thought....I'm going to a wedding not a homecoming. I'm not a teeny bopper..
Back to shopping....I came out and she was working with another customer and she smiles at me and gave me 2 thumbs up....Like asking did you find a winner......I said, they were just a little to body hugging for my taste. She was such a sweetheart. I guess maybe I'm using a good moisturizer AND I don't look my age....HAHAHAHAHAHHA...
I FINALLY found one a JCP that is more age appropriate....I will post pics. Sunday...that is when the wedding is..
