BROWN SUGAR AND VANILLA SCRUB RECIPE..
PINTEREST TRIED AND LOVED...
BROWN SUGAR AND VANILLA SCRUB..
SMELLS SO GOOD YOU WILL WANT TO EAT IT...hehe
You want to begin by mixing 2 Cups of Brown Sugar and 1 Cup of Granulated Sugar together until there are no lumps. Add in 1 Cup of Sunflower Oil and 1 Tablespoon of Pure Vanilla Extract. {I like to use Sunflower Oil because it does not carry the strong scent that Olive Oil does.
I used small mason jars and used a ribbon for decoration and you have a perfect gift for the holidays which are right around the corner..
Great for elbows and knees!

GETTING STARBUCKS AND NOT FEELING GUILTY...
I always save my CHANGE for one year. But being that we were moving in a few months I decided to cash it in early to see how much I had. I went to the change counter Coinstar. and I had over $150.00 in change....CHA CHING..... I usually cash my change in for school supplies at the end of each year - but this time I cashed it in for STARBUCKS gift cards...
I thought hummmm--being that 2 of my kids birthdays were coming up and my girls are older I gave them each a $25.00 gift card to Starbucks...it was like I gave them a new car--(they would of liked the new car better) they loved it. Then I got a couple $10.00 ones to put in each car --just in case I need a little yummy-ness and didn't have any cash on hand.
It's crazy how just a penny here, a quarter there can add up!
What are other ways you SAVE??
HAPPY DAY
Well....my middle daughter has just graduated from High School. I can't believe how fast time flies. Sometimes I wish there was a pause button, so I could pause the world just for a little bit, so I could catch up. I remember telling my sister many years ago, that I couldn't wait for my girls to get older, so I wouldn't have to worry so much. Well to be honest, holy COW--I worry more NOW that they are older. I worry when they are driving, I worry when they with their friends, and now since they are older and THEY are having worries I worry that they are worrying-- so it's like DOUBLE WORRY....GESHHHHHHHH

JUNE 6TH: NATIONAL YO-YO DAY
Donald F. Duncan had more to celebrate about his life than an amazing name; he helped popularize the Yo-Yo. Though technically invented by a man named Pedro Flores in the late 1920’s, the Yo-Yo didn’t hit the mainstream until an entrepreneurial Duncan purchased Flores’ Yo-Yo Toy Company, mass-produced this circular piece of plastic and string, and introduced it to the world. June 6th is believed to be Duncan’s birthday

I SAVED SOME $ BY TAKING MY DAUGHTERS SENIOR PICS...
I am always looking for ways to save money anywhere I can for our family of 5. Being that my middle daughter is a Senior this year..I thought I could $ave a couple hundred dollars if I took her senior portraits myself...I am not a professional, but I do like to dabble with photography. We went to Harpers Ferry, WV which is a beautiful place, with lots of history, water, stone. I actually was very happy with her pictures. We got some great photos and also made some fun memories changing clothes in the woods and swatting the many bugs.... After we completed our photos we came home uploaded them and she edited them with a program called Picasa 3 which is a FREE download.. This morning Chelsea came into my bedroom and said "Mom, I can't stop looking at my photos they are so good.... that made me one happy MOMMA...
