BACK TO SCHOOL A SUCCESS....

Welp, my kiddos have made it through their first week of school....My oldest is a Senior in College studying Elementary Education..

My middle daughter has Senior-itis in the first week and is so over high school...

My 8th grader has no complaints...so far...

I just hope and pray the rest of this year will go as smooth as this first week!!!

My two oldest daughters have Fibromyalgia and just getting up in the mornings can be a struggle, there is not a day that goes by that they are NOT living with some kind of pain through-out their body or a headache! I feel terrible for those who suffer from this terrible disorder. It's pretty sad when their choice of perfume is Icy Hot or Ben Gay.....

WHEN YOU WISH YOU COULD TAKE BACK WHAT YOUR SAID.. funny story

Wow...Yesterday was a rough day...at work! I work in a medical office front desk and back office and having NO computers for almost 2 days made a lot of make-up to do! Finally, our computers came up and we were able to get working. Working the front desk my co-worker decided she would put in all the charges from yesterday and I would make the calls to schedule their needed appts. (6 months check ups) since we were unable to make their returning appts yesterday.

I was answering phones, calling patients from yesterday, and checking in/out patients from today it was quite crazyyyyyyy....

I called a patient and left a message on their answering machine to make their returning 6 month appt.
THE MESSAGE WENT LIKE THIS.......UGHHHHH

"Hello, this is Melissa calling from the Dentist office, I have a note on your FART (should of said CHART) to call and schedule your 6 months cleaning appt. since our computers were down yesterday, please call back to schedule your appt.... (I glanced at the other lady and omg her face was priceless and I smiled--but we were so indulged in what we were doing --trying to play catch up we didn't even think twice about what I said.......until after lunch)....

After lunch things began to slow down and I look at her and said, "Did you hear what I said this morning, I have a note on your FART...instead of CHART...Needless to say, for the rest of the afternoon we would just randomly start laughing....

To be honest---as I'm blogging this I can't stop laughing and my husband is looking at me like I'm a wack-a-doo.....

I can only imagine what those people are thinking as they were listening to my message....

MAKE SOME SLIME...WHO DOESN'T LOVE SLIME...

Surfing tonight I found a great site Skiptomylou .....I could of stayed on this page all night long...
Here is a great and fun recipe from the site for SLIME......

INGREDIENTS:

To make simply mix equal parts of liquid starch and glue together.

We placed 1/4 cup liquid starch into a sandwich bag and added about 3 drops of green food coloring.

Next add in 1/4 cup glue

Mix well. It will start to form a solid blob. There might be a bit of liquid that will not mix in, just remove the blob of slime and discard the bag with the extra liquid.

Take it out of the bag and have fun!
